Why CBD Oil?

Did you know that CBD oil has been scientifically proven to be very effective at lessoning the amount of seizures and the severity of those seizures that may occur in children with epilepsy?
One of the main reasons why our organization is a proponent of the idea of using CBD oil in the treatment of epilepsy is that we have seen firsthand how it helped CJ and other epileptic children that have shared their stories with us.

Currently, there are a number of different treatments for seizures/epilepsy that are prescription drugs manufactured by pharmaceutical companies.
Although some of them are useful, many of those drugs are also riddled with negative side effects and can also vary in degree of effectiveness from individual to individual. There are inherent risks to any kind of drug that is given to a child for any kind of illness but for an illness, as challenging to treat as epilepsy those risks are even higher. One bad interaction or breakthrough seizure could end in hospitalization or even death.

Why CBD Oil?

The goal for treating those with epilepsy is to minimize/eliminate seizures as much as possible with minimal side effects.
Based on a number of documented studies it has been shown that CBD oil can be an effective treatment for epilepsy by preventing seizures with less side effects than other commonly used pharmaceutical drugs.
These findings are not only documented and studied by different accredited and notable sources, it is a personal testimony of the founders of EAE. They have seen it work to minimize seizures and side effects that could debilitate and hinder epileptic children from leading fulfilling lives.
This is why we are so sincere when we are promoting awareness of CBD oil and its effectiveness against the struggle of Epilepsy. It has not only been proven to work scientifically, it has also worked for family and friends even for ailments outside of having Epilepsy.
